Do I dare ever trust a human again?

A gentle soul with only the slimmest will to live, Alana needs a hero and a great awakening.

Rescued from a breeding kennel going out of business, she was severely matted at the time of rescue and had eye infections.

We have cleaned Alana up and her eyes are improving on medication. But her hope for the future has yet to be restored.

In a gentle home environment, showered with love, she will awaken to the enormous and exciting new world offered by a kind, compassionate person.

Alana is a Lhasa Apso, 4 years of age. She is now spayed and debuting for adoption today.

She is compatible with other dogs and we believe she will thrive best in a home with another dog (or dogs) to help her adjust.

Please plan on regular professional grooming care for Alana, budgeting extra accordingly.

Anna Beanie Little Eric Michelle Nicholas Sisters Anna and Michelle , and their brothers Beanie , Little Eric , and Nicholas , are very affectionate babies who love giving you kisses. We rescued their pregnant mother, a Cocker Spaniel named Mary Poppins from a government-funded shelter.  She had reportedly been bred with a Scottish Terrier.  We placed Mary Poppins in a loving foster home and she gave birth to these five angels and raised them there. Mary Poppins is going to be adopted by her foster family.  Her puppies are now 3 months of age, spayed/neutered, and ready for adoption. Please carefully puppy-proof your home and yard for their safety and protection.

Update 2: Jellybean was adopted on November 11th! Update: Licorice was adopted on November 9th! Licorice and Jellybean , brother and sister, are nicknamed " The Sweet Candy Puppies " due to their affectionate, adorable temperaments. They are most likely Retriever mixes and may grow to medium or large size. They are spayed/neutered, approximately 3 months of age, and they debut for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. The Sweet Candy Puppies were rescued after being found abandoned on the streets. Jellybean was injured with a hairline fracture in her right rear leg. We had her leg treated and it had been bandaged and she was resting for nearly a month. She recovered beautifully. Licorice and Jellybean can be adopted separately, but please consider adopting them together for lifelong love and companionship. They are terrific together!
