Please help me adjust so that I can maintain my joyful spirit.

Update: Big Bob was adopted on October 21st!

A rustic, very cheerful boy, Big Bob's smile will warm your soul.

He is a Rottweiler, neutered male, about 7 years of age, debuting for adoption today.

We rescued Big Bob from another shelter, so we do not have much background information on him.

He is knowledgeable with basic training commands and he is eager to please.

Big Bob has special needs due to his diminished hearing. We believe this is a new condition because he is struggling to adjust to it. (For example, he gets anxious if you sneak up on him.)

An experienced home is needed to help him adjust to his hearing loss. Please teach him some basic hand signals for good communication and help him regain self-assurance and confidence.

Rottweiler knowledge and/or experience is required for Big Bob's adoption. Also, he needs an adult-only home to err on the safe side (as a child may mistakenly startle him before he hears him or her approaching).

Please visit and ask for Big Bob by name.
