They abused my innocence.

This little angel was wrapped repeatedly in wide tape and smeared with blood from an ear wound when she was spotted outside at an apartment complex.

A caring woman spent two hours earning her trust before this terrified girl let her capture and rescue her.

Our best guess was that a gang had gotten hold of her, but what their horrific intentions were we can only imagine.

Fortunately, the woman brought her to us for medical and emotional rehabilitation.

We named her Hope and gave her the special care she needed to heal and know she was safe.

Desperate to trust us and make a loving connection, she soon thereafter dropped her protective emotional walls and accepted our help. You can still in her eyes though the fear and uncertainty she is feeling.

Hope is a lovely Chihuahua, about 2 years of age. She is now spayed and debuting for adoption.

She is very tender-hearted and sensitive, so a gentle, experienced home is needed for her. We had her cherry eye condition repaired and she has been recovering well.

Hope enjoys other dogs, especially calm ones.

Please adopt her and ensure that she only sees the best of human nature.
